The REED Center for Ecosystem Reintegration

Reconnecting humanity to the brilliance of nature

The REED Center is a Maryland-based nonprofit that seeks to repair the holistic connection of humans and their environment through research, engaging communities in farm programming, developing self-perpetuating ecosystems, and designing natural landscapes on residential and commercial scales.

Our mission: To demonstrate how people can reintegrate with thriving ecosystems by developing ecologically beneficial agricultural systems that meet human needs while restoring planetary health

Design

With a team of diverse perspectives and comprehensive expertise, we design customized landscapes for every client. Designs are tailored to the needs, time and capabilities of ANY user(s).

Explore Nature

The REED Center’s headquarters are located in Central Maryland at Morning View Food Forest. Morning View is a space for human and planetary healing and an opportunity for people to reconnect with themselves, each other, and the thriving environment that surrounds. In the quietude of nature, the intention is to observe and replicate sustainable ecosystems, recognizing the similarities we share as humans singularly and as part of the larger ecosystem.
